Vigilant is the instrument that Maximum was founded on. It’s a self-powered wind speed instrument with high gust measuring capability, so you can track the biggest winds. Wind speed is shown from 0-100 MPH and 0-160 km/h. The highest wind gust is saved with our unique Gust Register, allowing you to monitor exactly how hard the wind blew even if you are not present when it occurs. Vigilant is self-powered by the rooftop wind speed sensor and requires no batteries or other power source to operate. -
The Maximum Water Temperature Sensor weather instrument utilizes a precision thermistor that has been potted in a solid bronze rod, bored to accept the thermistor in its very end, along with potted wiring. The bronze rod measures 0.38" O.D. x 3.00" L. The precision thermistor is a solid state device which changes its resistance inversely proportional with temperature from 150,000 Ohms at the low end to 1,500 Ohms at the high end. Interchangeability of thermistors is /-0.2ºC; time constant 10 seconds. Ships complete with 60' of 22 AWG, 2-wire, UV protected cable -
