A digital instrument with a "brain" to record changes and trends as well as present wind conditions. Readings are given in four modes: Present displays existing wind conditions. Peak gives speed and direction of highest gust since last reset. Average reveals average wind speed and direction since last reset. Forecast compares most recent 12-minute average with previous 12 minutes. Features user-selectable units of measurement for speed (MPH, Knots, km/h or m/s) and can interface with Mystic to compute wind-chill. Merlin's memory is protected by a 10-year backup to preserve stored data. Ships complete with: 60' sensor cable, AC adaptor, outdoor sensors and mounting hardware. -
Maestro displays wind speed, wind direction and highest gust up to 100 MPH (and 160 km/h). Wind speed is self-powered by rooftop sensor. Wind direction is displayed across 16 compass points using LED’s which run off the supplied AC power pack. Highest gust is saved on our unique Gust Register, which allows you to monitor highest gusts even when you missed the actual wind blast. Proteus is a true scientific-grade instrument if you are looking to take weather tracking and observing to the next level. It is our highest quality, temperature compensated, aneroid barometer. Temperature compensated and accurate to within ±0.08 inches of mercury. Displays in inches of mercury from 27.5" to 31.5" and in the equivalent kilopascals (93.2-106.7). Can be adjusted to any elevation up to 8000' . Proteus is equipped with a resettable needle pointer used to mark changes in pressure. A cutaway dial window reveals an heirloom-quality French barometer movement. -
