Predictor is a versatile, accurate meteorological grade barometer capable of tracking air pressure changes in a functional and informative presentation. It is a must have for any home weather enthusiast. Dial shows traditional barometer nomenclature (displays "Rain", "Change" and "Fair"), as well as measurements over a 3-inch scale of mercury (28.5" - 31.5"). Accurate to ±0.16 inches of mercury. Can be adjusted to any elevation up to 6500'. Precision German movement is displayed behind a cutaway dial. Re-settable pointer lets you track changes in barometric pressure. -

Rainwatch displays either long or short term rainfall with the flip of a switch. Select the length of time for each 'counter' with the reset switch. Collect annual rainfall in one memory, and weekly or daily rainfall in the other. 4-digit LED panel displays rainfall from 00.01" to 99.99" with an inch/cm conversion chart. A single 9V battery (included) will collect and maintain data for up to 1 week in case of power failure. The Maximum Air Temperature Sensor weather instrument contains a precision thermistor that has been potted in a nickel-plated, brass probe. The brass probe measures 1/2" O.D. x 1.00" L, and protrudes through the bottom of a PVC cylinder that is 1.31" O.D. x 0.81" H. A secondary 2.25" O.D. white plastic disk provides shade over the probe to diminish the effect of direct sunlight on the thermistor. The precision thermistor is a solid state device which changes its resistance inversely proportional with temperature from 150,000 Ohms at the low end to 1,500 Ohms at the high end.
