To help you determine the best anemometer for your application, Maximum offers special pricing on this two-sensor, AC Voltage/Hall Effect evaluation kit.
The #400 utilizes a single coil (approx. 2.02 VAC at 60 cycles) and is a frequency counting sensor that is suitable for applications where voltage output is not important.
The HAL utilizes a Hall Effect Digital Switch (Allegro #A1106EUA-T) to directly drive digital circuitry. Output frequency is identical to the #400 and #41.
Both 3-Cup anemometers are calibrated to a master to be interchangeable, are made of polycarbonate and have the following dimensions:
